Accounting

In accounting, FiCoVision supports companies and corporate groups in performing ongoing bookkeeping activities in compliance with section 6 no. 4 of the German Tax Consultancy Act (StBerG). This includes, in particular, posting business transactions in line with predefined coding and chart-of-accounts rules, handling accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and fixed asset accounting, reconciling accounts, preparing management reports and analyses, and supporting the preparation of internal reports.

Responsibility for preparing annual financial statements, tax returns, and all other activities reserved for tax advisors remains entirely with the engaged tax professionals or with clients’ internal departments. FiCoVision provides support and delivers the necessary preparatory data and analyses but does not perform any functions reserved for the regulated tax advisory or audit professions.

Controlling

In controlling, FiCoVision supports companies and corporate groups in the structured preparation of data, the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, and the performance of selected analysis tasks. Employees work directly in clients’ system landscapes, based on their specifications, KPI frameworks, and governance guidelines.

The service portfolio covers operational, tactical, and strategic controlling activities, including planning, performance monitoring, information preparation, and management support. FiCoVision delivers reliable, decision-relevant information but does not perform any audit or assurance functions.

Responsibility for strategic and operational business decisions remains with the companies and corporate groups. FiCoVision provides structured data, analyses, and decision support but does not assume any corporate officer or management role and does not make independent business decisions.

Finance Operations

In finance operations, FiCoVision supports companies and corporate groups in building, running, and optimizing finance shared service structures in an offshoring model. This includes designing process maps, defining roles, responsibilities, and interfaces, identifying and migrating suitable processes to the offshoring model, planning and executing transition phases, and ongoing performance and quality management.

FiCoVision also supports finance transformations and change management initiatives, for example when shifting from decentralized structures to centralized service units or when adapting system and process landscapes in the context of ERP implementations, digitalization programs, or reorganizations.

Management

FiCoVision’s management services cover the professional leadership of finance and accounting functions without assuming any statutory corporate officer roles. Within defined units, FiCoVision can take on the professional leadership of accounting and controlling teams, coordinate finance processes, or assume temporary leadership tasks, for example as head of accounting (functional) or head of controlling (functional).

Corporate officer roles such as managing director, board member, or authorized signatory (Prokurist) are not assumed as part of these services. FiCoVision acts as a professional leadership unit that manages processes, quality, timelines, and communication and thereby complements and stabilizes clients’ internal finance organizations without taking on statutory responsibilities.

Interim

As part of its interim services, FiCoVision temporarily assumes roles in the finance function to bridge staffing gaps, safeguard projects, or support transformation phases. This may include engagements in accounting, controlling, finance operations, or the functional leadership of teams.

Scope, content, responsibilities, and duration of interim engagements are defined in detail in the service agreement. This provides companies and corporate groups with a clear, plannable, and manageable solution to cover short-term capacity needs in finance with tailored professional support.

IT

In the area of IT, FiCoVision takes over defined IT-related support, operational, and coordination tasks for companies and corporate groups as an external IT service unit. This includes, in particular, the handling and follow-up of tickets, support in user and access management, the maintenance of system and master data, the documentation of processes, the execution of standardized review and quality assurance steps, as well as operational support for rollouts, migrations, and the stabilization of cloud-based applications and processes.

FiCoVision thus creates a reliable operational structure for companies that have not established their own internal IT department or that want to outsource certain tasks efficiently. By taking over clearly defined day-to-day activities, scalable support structures, short response times, and professional relief within modern, cloud-based system landscapes can be achieved.

Customer Support

In the area of Customer Support, FiCoVision takes over defined service and support processes for companies and corporate groups as an external customer support unit. This includes, in particular, the recording, categorization, and handling of incoming inquiries via the specified channels, case-related communication based on defined guidelines and processes, the maintenance of case, master, and status data in the customer’s systems, the coordination of internal escalations and handovers, as well as the preparation of service-related reports and quality overviews.

FiCoVision therefore offers a reliable and scalable solution for companies that do not maintain their own customer support function or that want to outsource their service processes in a targeted manner. In this way, availability, processing quality, and customer satisfaction in day-to-day operations can be strengthened sustainably, while internal resources are relieved effectively.
